Training and Supervision

Lauren’s communication was very professional and smooth from start to finish, including the setting up of our session and the technical practicalities for example; everything was very clear! It was also reassuring to hear all about Lauren’s extensive experience and training (1/2) (March 2026)

Lauren was very easy-going in nature which made the session flow in a comfortable way. I really appreciated being asked what sort of style (i.e. being told vs questioned) would be preferable as well as Lauren taking the time to follow up with practical resources, which have already been useful (2/2) (March 2026)

I am so pleased I reached out for supervision with Lauren, it was exactly what I needed. I would feel confident in both recommending her to others as well as booking again in the future should I need further support for stammering. (March 2026)

Lauren has a lovely, calm nature. As a supervisor, she really listens to what you want to achieve and is responsive to that. As a busy therapist, I really appreciate the functional, practical advice that I can put right into practise. (July 2026)

We would highly recommend Lauren to others dealing with stammering. She’s very knowledgeable and really cares. (July 2019)

A really helpful supervision session, sharing her experiences and listened to what I wanted to get out of the session too. (March 2024)

This training has added so much to my toolbox and given me clear ways to refresh my knowledge. January 2025

Thank you – it was an excellent training in an area I don’t feel confident in. I feel I have so much more in my toolbox now along with ways of digging deeper or refreshing what I learned via the links to more information. (January 2025)

Very informative. Great balance of theory and practical ideas for therapy”. January 2025

The case studies were also really interesting and helpful along with your rationale for why you did what you did with the individual children. Lots of practical examples of ways to show/explain to parents and children about stammering and ways to struggle less with it. I’m also looking forward to looking at the links for following up and embedding the info. (January 2025)

Stammering workshops and training: Coming soon!

I am working hard to create workshops about stammer affirming therapy, the social model and how I work with children and adults who stammer.

I want to create a space for open discussions, to share information and resources I have made. I want you to feel confident and empowered when working with people who stammer, and to make decisions that feel right for you.
